The Winning Sausage in November 2010
At last the farm shop sweeps the board in the South Eastern Primestock sausage competition. A first prize in 2008, a first and a second in 2009, and 2 firsts and a second in 2010 together with the champions cup.
Here is Jim looking fairly satisfied with a string of the winning sausages.
There are 3 classes in the Sausage competition. In the Traditional Pork Jim's pork sausage took the prize, this is our Sussex which we serve up every week. In the Speciality section Jim's venison took the prize, always popular in the shop in the game season. In the Beef and Lamb class, Gary's Greek lamb secured a worthy second prize.
